Welcome to Low Country Siberians. We are a small boutique cattery located just outside of Charleston in the Low Country of South Carolina.

They’re exposed to people of all kinds all the time, and all the commotion and sounds of normal life. They love to be around people and other pets and will be an incredible addition to your family.
We “discovered” the Siberian breed of cat when living in a small condo in a big city , desperately wanting a furry companion but had cat allergies. After learning about the breed’s hypoallergenic qualities , loving dog-like personalities and being exposed to the cats with no reaction we adopted Captain Feral , a beautiful Silver Blue Siberian Tabby who became an integral part of our family for almost 16 years.
In addition to being a social family member , Captain became an integral part of our daughter’s therapy as she struggles with sensory issues as well as an autism diagnosis.
After Captain passed away our family could not bear the thought of not having one of these magical animals in our home and decided to start “Low Country Siberians” in Captain’s memory as a way to keep this unique breed of cats in our home and share them with the world.
